About Audio Vie France
We're a small, mostly volunteer team who put practical technology to work for the Gospel. What we do fits in one sentence: helping people hear the Good News in their heart language.
Why we exist
Many will never open a book. But they will listen.
Across much of the world, print simply doesn't reach people. Some languages have never been written down. Some people never had the chance to learn to read. And in many places the book never arrives at all.
Yet these are communities where everything that matters is carried by voice — through story, conversation and song. People learn by listening.
Audio Vie France exists for that reason: so the Word can be heard clearly, in a language someone truly understands.
How we work
Our approach
Three simple movements, repeated for decades: collect, engineer, equip.
Collect Gospel media
01Collect Gospel media
We gather trusted Christian audio and video resources from ministries around the world, then sort them language by language so they can actually be used in the field.
Engineer smart mission technology
02Engineer smart mission technology
We design practical technology that brings Gospel media to people's ears and eyes — even where books, smartphones or reliable internet are out of reach. Easy to use, rugged, made to last.
Equip ministries
03Equip ministries
We put tools, content and advice into the hands of churches, mission agencies and local believers so they can share God's Word themselves.

Our philosophy
What makes Audio Vie different?
It isn't the products that define us, but a handful of stubborn convictions.
Media you can trust
We only pass on recordings whose source and content are clear, produced by ministries with a solid track record.
Simplicity first
A device should explain itself in a minute — no manual, no screen, no account to create.
Affordable on purpose
We push the cost as low as we can, so distribution is never held back by a budget line.
Built to survive
Heat, dust, humidity, no mains power: our tools are chosen and tested for those realities.
Serving, never replacing
We don't step in front of local churches and missions. We hand them capacity, then get out of the way.
Field-proven over fashionable
Technology only counts if it still works in a village with no network, five years after it was delivered.
Where we come from
Our story
From cardboard phonographs to memory cards: the media changed, the intent never did. Each generation picked up the same task with the tools of its day — records, cassettes, CDs, memory cards, and today small solar audio players.
- 1
The beginnings of evangelism through audiovisual media
The work is part of a global audiovisual evangelization movement that began with Joy Ridderhof, a missionary in Honduras in the 1930s, who used records and portable phonographs to spread the Gospel.

Tools that kept growing
Over time the tools were enriched — records, cassettes, then CDs, memory cards and MP3 players — strengthening the work of evangelization at every step.

The distributions of AUDIO VIE FRANCE
AUDIO VIE FRANCE is part of this history and uses these different tools to spread the Gospel in the field today.

Our horizon
Looking ahead
We want practical Gospel technology to keep becoming more accessible, more reproducible and more useful to ministries wherever they serve.
In practice that means tools local teams can load, repair and multiply on their own, without depending on us. We move one step at a time, listening to the field rather than announcing grand plans.
